Folks,

I thought I'd take a minute to answer a few questions that people are asking. I've tried to answer anyone who asked me directly but it seems maybe it might make sense to make this public announcement in case there are one or two people too shy to ask

Pilgrim Road will see the light of day early in May of 2008. The record will be available in Europe on Glitterhouse Records as well as thru their website at http://www.glitterhouse.com in a deluxe digipack version with lyric book. Loose Records (UK, France)will also release a digipack version of the cd and Fuse Records (Australia, New Zealand) will be releasing a jewel case version without the lyric book. For those of you who want the lyrics, I will be posting them at www.willardgrantconspiracy.com.

The record will be available for digital download in May for Europe, United Kingdom, North America, Japan and South America by way of Itunes, Amazon and the other usual subjects. And, though I have not been able to figure out a way to make the CD available in all of these territories (although not a problem for those in the UK, Europe, Australia or New Zealand) as a physical object thru stores, I am hoping to find someway to make that happen for those of you who might still like the format! At the very least, it should be something that we can do thru our website store for those who are willing to mail order.

It is important to me that the record is available to everyone in their own territories so that no one has to pay import prices or wait for months to catch up with the release. I know we haven't been completely successful with making it available in all ways to all people but not for the lack of trying.

We are currently working on tour dates for Australia and New Zealand and any ideas are welcome. Please drop us a message with any suggestions or offers and I promise we will follow it up. It will be our second time in Australia and the first for New Zealand and I am looking forward to the trip and meeting people at the shows.

For those of you who ask me regularly about dates for the US and Canada, I haven't found a way to do it for this record yet but am looking forward to making it work eventually. Anyone who thinks they can make a show happen in a living room, club, church hall or anywhere else, let me know and I'll see if we can string a few things together that will make it possible to do.

The Pilgrim Road Orchestra Tour dates in Europe and the UK are confirmed and all 11 of us, along with our friend Howe Gelb who is playing a special solo set to start the evening, are looking forward to seeing everyone at the shows. These shows promise to be unique each night and I hope we've made it as easy as possible for people to be in attendance for this rare large ensemble version of the band. Contributing to the band each evening will be Malcolm Lindsay, Josh Hillman, Chris Eckman, Tom King, Iona Macdonald, Yuko Murata, John Songdahl, Peter Harvey, Dennis Cronin, Erik VanLoo and myself. There will be a few special guests along the way but none that can be revealed at this time...surprise guests are more fun if I don't give them away ahead of time.

A number of you have asked about the art work for the album and I thought it worth mentioning that the art used for the cover was done by Stuart Duffin (www.stuartduffin.com) who also contributed a bit of his bass playing to the record. Stuart is a remarkable artist and one of many that I met thru Malcolm while we were recording in Scotland and I am very grateful that he has allowed us to use the images from his series "Colour Of Ashes". Please visit him at his website for the story behind the creation of these images.

Thanks again to everyone who as asked me questions over the last few weeks. I hope I get to catch up with all of you in person in the next few months at one of the shows.

Best Regards,

Robert

For those who have the Glitterhouse version of Let it Roll;

The first printing has an error on the tracklisting for songs number 4, 6 and 7. It should read;

4. Skeleton
6. Breach
7. Crush

We are sorry for the confusion.

Robert
